My name is Liv Appleton and I am a medical content writer, blogger and brass player.

I have been involved in brass bands for over sixteen years and written about them for over five years.

I have collaborated with other brass band media, including 4barsrest, Mode For...Tabby Kerwin and also write a regular column for the British Bandsman magazine.

My aim is not only to entertain other banders with relatable content but to also introduce this amazing movement to a mainstream audience.
