Record-Breaking Contest Set for King Edward's School

The countdown is on to the 2026 Youth Championships on Saturday 28th March 2026 and it's set to be the biggest yet.

Forty-two Band Line-up

The 2026 Youth Championships is set to host a record-breaking 42 youth bands competing across four sections. So, if you're looking to grab a ticket, now is the time! Audiences can look forward to:

• The return of the Besson Prodige Showcase Section (non-competitive)

• The introduction of a brand-new Challenge Section

• 14 bands in the ABRSM Performance Section

• 13 bands in the Yamaha Championship Section

Save Money with Advance Tickets

Attendees are encouraged to book tickets in advance to take advantage of discounted pricing:

• Adults: £13 in advance (£16 on the door)

• Under 18s: £5

• Under 5s: FREE

Booking ahead not only offers better value, but also helps avoid queues and ensures entry on what is expected to be a busy day.

Ticket Collection and Access

Pre-purchased tickets will be available for collection at ticket desks located within the foyers of each performance hall at King Edward's School.

With multiple sections running and a packed schedule of performances, early arrival is recommended to make the most of the day.
