Elland Youth Band to Host Brass Workshop and Concert with Glyn and Helen Williams

Brass players across the UK will have the opportunity to take part in a special workshop led by renowned musicians Glyn and Helen Williams.

Organised by Elland Silver Youth Band, the workshop will take place on Saturday 30th May 2026, offering an afternoon of music-making, development, and performance opportunities for players of all ages playing at Grade 3 standard and above.

Unique Workshop and Concert Opportunity

The event is designed to help players to 'take their playing to the next level', combining expert tuition with the chance to perform alongside other musicians. Participants will work closely with Glyn and Helen Williams, as well as members of the Elland Silver Youth Band. They will then have the opportunity to join Aldbourne Band in concert as part of the band's Whit Friday tour to Yorkshire, connecting the workshop with one of the most iconic traditions in the brass band calendar.
