New Horizons: National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain 2026 Easter Concerts

Join the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for two unforgettable evenings of world-class music-making from over 90 of the UK's most talented young brass and percussion players. Conducted by the world-renowned Professor Nicholas Childs with special guest baritone soloist, Mike Cavanagh, the band's 2026 Easter concert New Horizons celebrates the spirit of innovation, youthful energy and musical excellence that defines the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
World Premières and a World Class Guest Soloist

The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will be bringing their New Horizons concert programme to The Garden Rooms, Leyburn on Saturday 11th April and to the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester on Saturday 18th April.
The concerts will feature:
Suite for Brass by Andrea Price - a world première, commissioned and funded by the Victoria Wood Foundation inspired by the music and humour of the legendary Victoria Wood, as well as her lifelong love of brass band music.
Concerto for Baritone by Peter Graham - performed by guest soloist, Mike Cavanagh, Solo Baritone with the world-famous Black Dyke Band and member of the award-winning A4 Brass Quartet, Mike Cavanagh
Works by Paul Lovatt-Cooper, Bruce Broughton, Edward Gregson and more
